It’s officially pumpkin spice latte season, and what’s a better fall soundtrack than soft ambient music that just makes you want to sip and enjoy the cooler weather? It looks like IU is ready to take over the fall charts as over three of her songs have made it to the Top 10. Hottest-trending boy group BTS made a veritable comeback, and their efforts were rewarded with a debut into the Top 10 as well.

Digital Darling

IU isn’t called digital darling or MelOn’s daughter for nothing! With the release of her latest album A Flower Bookmark 2, she can now claim to have five songs simultaneously rank in the Top 10. Taking first place is “Autumn Morning” on MelOn, Mnet, and Bugs! Featuring a one-minute unaccompanied showcase of her vocals, the song is gentle enough to be played on your morning commute or when winding down for the night. No wonder Koreans are streaming it!

At seventh place is her “Secret Garden.” With gentle guitar strumming and soft drumming, the song has found a place on Koreans’ playlists. It’s a song quite reminiscent of her Real album, and perhaps that’s what lent the song its current popularity!

Her next song debuting at ninth place is “Sleepless Rainy Night,” which is a cover of the original song by renowned veteran singer Kim Gunmo. Her Flower Bookmark is a direct continuation of a series of remakes, and it has received public adoration and raving reviews. It looks like this cover enjoys similar popularity. Enjoy yourself an IU channeling Leon-esque fashion in this special clip!

Also at ninth place on Bugs! is her “Everyday With You.” With dreamy vocals, this song could totally be the soundtrack to a romantic drama! IU’s signature honey vocals really shine through here as birds are literally chirping as the instrumentals.

Billboard Artist

BTS is reaping the fruits of their labor. Since 2015, the boy group has received phenomenal success and recognition from fans around the world, and it looks like they aren’t stopping anytime soon! With their latest album Love Yourself: Her, the boys are looking towards a global audience, and the songs reflect accordingly more Western influences. Most of the songs on the album are produced by Western producers, deviating from their familiar sound. It looks like the venture is paying off with “DNA” breaking into the Top 10 at fifth and third place on MelOn and Bugs! respectively. “DNA” even broke into the Billboard Top 100 charts, placing at number 85! Well-deserved!
