Snowflake Glow Makeup
The winter season is coming in with snow finally showing itself to the world. It’s time to bring out the glowy and dewy makeup look to match the beautiful snowflakes. Snowflake looks are all about that glow and highlight to show off your natural radiance.
To get that perfect dewy look, your skincare is one of the most important steps. Make sure that you have completed your full skincare routine to ensure hitting the mark. For foundation, using a light coverage is always best to bring out your natural glow. For some people, skin needs more coverage during specific days, so using a medium coverage foundation is acceptable as well. For face powder, you should only apply it to the T-zone of your face and under your eye to emphasize the glow on your cheekbones. Although you want to show the glow on the tip of your nose and forehead, you don’t want an oily sheen, but a natural glow, which is why face powder is usually applied there as well. To emphasize the look of a sparkly snowflake, using a natural highlighter is also a good option. The highlighter will bring out your cheekbones, nose bridge, brow bone, chin, and even your cupid’s bow. Snowflakes usually have a sparkle and shine to them when they fall, so we want to try to recreate that look on your face.
For the eye makeup, which is my favorite part of any makeup routine, make sure that you show that sparkle by adding a clear glitter eyeshadow, which goes over your natural eye makeup. When you blink, your eyes will have a natural glint that people will see, showing off a snowflake look. Another technique that we can use to recreate the snowflakes is adding a clear liquid eyeshadow to show off a dewy and water-like texture on the eyelids. Apply glitter to the inner corners of your eyes to highlight the area as well as complete the makeup look.
You can recreate the snowflake makeup look any way you want, but glitter and highlight are definitely reflections of the snow falling to the ground. What is your favorite makeup look during the winter season? Let me know in the comments below!
