Stay “Right Here” with The Boyz
The Boyz are back with their first single album, The Sphere! The album includes three tracks total, with title “Right Here” beginning the album, flowing into B-side “L.O.U,” and concluding with previous release “지킬게 (KeePer)” produced by Block B’s Park Kyung.
“Right Here” is a groovy track that keeps up the energy of last major release, “Giddy Up.” The boys show off their youthful charms with energetic choreography and bright cinematography, with an emphasis on bold and bright colors in every scene. Although the number of cute boys in this group can be a bit overwhelming, there’s no doubt in their ability to capture attention with their swift moves and catchy tunes. “Right Here” is a great end of summer jam to celebrate the last of the warm weather.
“L.O.U” has a different, softer vibe from the title. Though the track still is rather high tempo and energetic, it feels like a sweeter and warmer song with a focus on the cuter side of things. Overall though, it cohesively puts together the youthful and peppy sound of the album. “지킬게 (KeePer)” rounds out the cheerful sounding album with a classic Park Kyung produced sound, easily recognizable to anyone who is a fan of the Block B rapper. He has an affinity for the bright aesthetic in his productions, and it always shines through without a doubt.
All in all, The Sphere is a nice single album release from the group that will leave you feeling content and cheerful upon listening to the full album. It brings a sense of warmth in the dying days of summer, as temperatures begin to cool and the days begin to shorten. It’s one last final reminder of the bright season that so many adore and is sure to leave you in a better mood by the end of the final track.
